Natürliche Familienfotografie in Zürich

In a world that seems to spin faster and faster, photographs are a kind of Time Machine that can beam us back to those little, special moments when our youngest still fit into the crook of our arm, and his older siblings were totally in awe of his cute little feet… These beautiful memories were captured on a warm late-summer-morning at Lake Zurich – and now they will hopefully warm your hearts! ;) You would like to have your own Time Machine? Get in touch – I’d love to help you with that!

Pretty in pink – Kinderfotografie in Zürich

Hydrangeas are my favourite flowers – indoors I love Bigleaf Hydrangeas in a vase, outdoors I love the gorgeous Panicle Hydrangeas in our garden, which bloom so beautifully and for quite long, so they carry a bit of summer over into autumn. This beauty is obviously also a great background for portraits! And in this case, even my normally rather photo-resistant youngest was happy to oblige when I asked her to come out with me to play. And she even allowed me to play and experiment with a special lens and with ‚free-lensing‘ (holding the lens in front of the camera at an angle, so that only parts of the image are in focus, and the rest is dreamily blurred) ;)
You also have a beautiful garden which would be the perfect autumn-background? Get in touch for your family session!

We have been back in Germany for a year now, and I have yet to write my first Blog post… It really is time to bring this Blog back to life, it’s been a while! ;) And today I have the perfect family session for the occasion – it has all the elements that are important to me when photographing families: lots of fun and laughter, many cuddles, and a lot of cute little details that will later be remembered fondly (and a little wistfully)…

This view just doesn’t get old! Saying good-bye to friends on the other hand… At least I get to help them create some memories of their time here in Shanghai with a beautiful family photography session!

memories | shanghai family photographer

It’s this time of year again here in Shanghai… the time when many Expats start preparing for moving on / moving home in the summer, and collecting memories of their time here. And what could be better than beautiful family photographs to remember their time in Shanghai by?
This beautiful friend of mine will be dearly missed – I loved capturing these memories for her and her family. Here’s a sneak peek!

taking time out | shanghai couples photographer

I can’t believe I never posted some more images of this gorgeous couple and their beautiful Beloved session! When their 10th anniversary was coming up, they decided to do something special – to put on their original wedding gown and tux, and take the time out to focus on each other, with me capturing some special memories for them. We even recreated their first dance: a tango to the White Stripe’s ‚Seven Nation Army‘ – how cool is that?!

Should you still be looking for the perfect X-mas-gift for your significant other, why not consider taking the time out for a couples photography session with me, so you also finally have some moments to focus only on each other and capture beautiful memories at the same time?

memories of china | shanghai family photographer

This gorgeous family wanted to have their family photography session at a location that would always remind them of their time in China. A temple with those typical Chinese roofs, lots of red doors, and the whole family spending a lovely morning together – I’d say mission accomplished, wouldn’t you?!

This family is about to welcome not one, but two additions! And the soon-to-be big brother is so excited and well-prepared – here he is reading a book with his parents about all the things he will be able to teach his younger siblings in the future. Also, don’t you agree that his mom is the definition of ‚pregnancy glow‘?! I can’t wait to see them with their twins soon for their newborn photography session!

This Mom contacted me because she wanted her little boy to have some beautiful photos with his Grandpa. So we planned their family photography session for the time when Grandpa was visiting, and everyone spent a gorgeous day on the Shanghai Bund together. Here’s a sneak peek!
