this was a very special newborn session.
not only was the little boy especially cute, and his parents especially nice, it was also the first session where dad was especially into the posing of the little one, of his own accord helping me out with arranging the cute little fingers, crossing legs, suggesting props… it was great!
something else that was special was that mom is from south africa, and dad from new zealand. both are big rugby fans (well, dad maybe the tiniest bit more so… just a guess… ;)) – so of course we had to implement that into the session. they came up with the idea of posing the little one on the two national team jerseys – guess who arranged the legs in this oh-so-chilled position? – which will surely be a favourite later on (last image). the only question is, which team will he choose when he’s old enough, all blacks or springboks?
