the second pregnancy is so much more exhausting than the first one… not that i know what i’m talking about here from personal experience, having only one little girl, but i’ve watched plenty of friends go through their second pregnancy and we talked a lot about how different it was the second time around. while during your first pregnancy, you get to totally focus on yourself and your growing bump, you can get all the rest you need, and take all the time you need to prepare for the little one’s arrival… that’s just not possible the second time around. because there’s already someone there, demanding your attention. all. the. time. especially when sensing that something big is about to change in their lifes… so the second pregnancy is much more exhausting. but: you wouldn’t know it when looking at this glowing mom-of-2-to-be! she makes it look so easy, i bet some of you are even thinking about having a third baby right now… ;)
this maternity session was a combination of outdoors and indoors (also check out the sneak peek with some outdoor images). i love the images of mom by herself, but just as much the excitement that’s visible in dad’s and big sister’s faces in the family images. by now, little sis has already been born (if you’d like to have a peek at her, go here and here) – watch out for the full blog post of her newborn session coming soon!
