What kinds of photoshoots do you offer as a family photographer in Zurich?
I’m there for you and your family through all the big milestones: maternity photos with your baby bump, newborn photos in your own home (also as a Fresh 48 session in the first hours after birth, if you like), family photoshoots with children of any age and couple photos – where it all begins.
Where in Zurich does the photoshoot take place?
Wherever you and your family feel at home: at your place, by Lake Zurich, in a park or right in the middle of the city. A few examples: a morning in Zurich’s Old Town, an autumn afternoon on the Halbinsel Au or a cosy session at home. When is the best time for maternity, newborn and family photos?
For maternity photos, weeks 32 to 36 of your pregnancy are ideal. Newborn photos are loveliest in the first 10–14 days after birth – so it’s best to get in touch while you’re still pregnant. And for family photos, there’s no wrong time: every season in Zurich has its own magic, from a summer morning by the lake to a winter walk.
What if our kids won’t cooperate?
Then they’ll simply do what kids do – and that’s exactly what I photograph. I don’t pose anyone, and nobody has to say «cheese». In 14 years, no crying baby or defiant sibling has ever ruined a session. Often that’s when the most honest images happen. What should we wear to the photoshoot?
I’ll give you outfit tips before your session. As a general rule: choose clothes everyone feels comfortable and can move easily in. Calm, coordinated colours usually look better in photos than big logos or loud patterns.
How long does a photoshoot take?
A family photoshoot takes about 1 to 1½ hours. For a newborn session, I plan 1 to 2 hours – we go entirely at your baby’s pace, with all the breaks you need for feeding, changing and cuddling.
When will we get our photos?
About 3 weeks after your session, you’ll receive your professionally edited images in a password-protected online gallery. There, you can take your time looking through them and download them all straight away – no choosing, no counting. Shortly after the shoot, there’s a little sneak peek on social media – only with your okay.
Do you also travel outside Zurich?
Happily! I photograph in the city of Zurich, around Lake Zurich and, by arrangement, all over Switzerland. For travel of more than 20 km, I charge travel costs. Just drop me a line and tell me where you live, and we’ll talk through the rest.
