There is hardly a more personal place for a photoshoot than your own home – the place where you spend most of your time as a family.
For this family session in Zurich, I spent time with a young family and their one-year-old son – right in the middle of their everyday life.
Curious and constantly moving, he explored the world around him, crawling from one corner to the next, taking some wobbly steps with his little walker. In between, there were so many quiet, loving interactions with his parents – playing, laughing, reading, simply being together.
Later, we stepped out onto the balcony, where soft sunlight added another layer of warmth to the images.
At home, everything feels familiar – and that’s what allows truly honest moments to unfold.
