taking time out | couples photography

I can’t believe I never posted some more images of this gorgeous couple and their beautiful Beloved session! When their 10th anniversary was coming up, they decided to do something special – to put on their original wedding gown and tux, and take the time out to focus on each other, with me capturing some special memories for them. We even recreated their first dance: a tango to the White Stripe’s ‚Seven Nation Army‘ – how cool is that?!

Should you still be looking for the perfect X-mas-gift for your significant other, why not consider taking the time out for a couples photography session with me, so you also finally have some moments to focus only on each other and capture beautiful memories at the same time?

memories of china | international family photographer

This gorgeous family wanted to have their family photography session at a location that would always remind them of their time in China. A temple with those typical Chinese roofs, lots of red doors, and the whole family spending a lovely morning together – I’d say mission accomplished, wouldn’t you?!

expecting twins | twin maternity photographer

This family is about to welcome not one, but two additions! And the soon-to-be big brother is so excited and well-prepared – here he is reading a book with his parents about all the things he will be able to teach his younger siblings in the future. Also, don’t you agree that his mom is the definition of ‚pregnancy glow‘?! I can’t wait to see them with their twins soon for their newborn photography session!

This Mom contacted me because she wanted her little boy to have some beautiful photos with his Grandpa. So we planned their family photography session for the time when Grandpa was visiting, and everyone spent a gorgeous day on the Shanghai Bund together. Here’s a sneak peek!

sneak peek: fresh 48 | newborn photography session in the hospital

For a ‚Fresh 48‘ session, I come to the hospital to photograph your little one within the first 48 hours of his or her life. A wonderful way to memorise this beautiful and emotional time, a brand new life.

This little boy was exactly 24 hours old when I met him. In fact, he was just given his very first bath when I arrived at the hospital, which he wasn’t very impressed with at the time. But as you can see, he was very content afterwards – and he sported a very handsome head of freshly washed and perfectly soft hair for his first photo shoot!

Welcome to the world, little man!

playtime | lifestyle family photographer

Recently my girls found this huge leaf of a palm tree that had fallen into the pool in our compound.
Of course the wanted to take it home – and I didn’t have any objections as long as I also got to play with it a little… ;)
So here are some fun portraits and self-portraits from our ‚playtime‘!

shanghai calling | lifestyle family photographer

shanghai skyline photography background

My last session here has been photographed, the last images edited, the last albums designed, and the last storyboards delivered… after 8 wonderful years in Singapore, it is now time for a new adventure! My family and I are moving to Shanghai!

While we are all excited about this move (and having moved here from Shanghai 8 years ago, we know what we’re going back to), we are of course equally sad to leave behind this beautiful city, our life here, and most importantly all our friends.

And I’ll be very sad to no longer have yearly sessions with my regular client families here. However, I’m planning to still come to Singapore once or twice a year, and schedule a week of photo sessions here. Should you wish to be on my mailing list and be informed of these dates to maybe schedule a session with me, please contact me here! And of course, should you ever visit Shanghai and create some family memories over there, let me know!

Thank you Singapore, and all my wonderful clients here – it’s been fabulous!!!
