with nele, my older daughter, i have a special photo session just for her each year for her birthday. for my little one, maxi, i did monthly mini-sessions for her first year of life, and now want to start the same tradition of yearly shoots with her. maxi turned two a couple of weeks ago, so it was about time we did her session today!
maxi has a very special best friend – lauren. she talks about lauren all the time, they play together at kindergarten, they have regular playdates, they have been on holiday together… so in addition to taking photos of maxi, i wanted to capture this special friendship for her and lauren too. when i then stumbled across this pretty little tea-set, the session set-up idea was born: let’s have a tea party!
